PROGRAM OVERVIEW
What is the Ambassador Program?
The WATA Ambassador Program empowers individuals like you to make a real difference in communities around the world. Whether you’re a traveler, adventurer, or changemaker, you can help provide access to clean water by setting up portable water filters in areas that need it most. Ambassadors bring WATA’s mission to life by connecting with communities, installing water filters, and sharing the story of their journey. Together, we are building a network of water warriors who are helping to create a world where everyone has access to safe, clean drinking water.
HOW IT WORKS
How the program works
STEP 2: Fundraise for Filters and Supplies
You’ll be able to fundraise through WATA’s dedicated donation platform, Zeffy, which offers zero fees to 100% of your donations stay donations. We also use Venmo. These raised funds will be used to cover the cost of water filters and buckets. We’ll help you create your own personalized fundraiser with a unique QR code and business cards to make raising funds easy.
STEP 3: Receive Your Training & Resources
Ambassadors receive comprehensive training through our easy-to-follow guides and videos, in addition to a swag pack! You’ll also be connected with our network of local partners and nonprofits who can assist you on the ground. Plus, we will have the water filters shipped directly to your location, ensuring you have everything you need.
STEP 4: Set Up Filters & Share Your Story
Your mission is to set up water filters in communities that need clean drinking water, educate locals on WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), and share your journey with the WATA community. We’ll feature your story on our website, social media, and YouTube channel to inspire others. Together we can make a huge impact in the world.

Meet Our Ambassadors
MEET: EMILY HULBERT with WATER CYCLE
My name is Emily and I am beyond stoked to become an ambassador for WATA!
I have embarked on a journey crossing the globe on my bicycle in an attempt to explore the worlds heart beat in such a way that I can be apart of her time!
After several years backpacking this incredible globe I realised that with this immense privilege comes a huge responsibility to make this world a safe beautiful place for everyone to thrive!
A passion for ocean conservation, disappointment in plastic pollution and a desire to help people led me to find a solution with water filters!
I will be riding across the world, through remote communities in need of access to clean water, and delivering and distributing these water filters on the way!
It’s a great honour to partner with WATA and collaborate in ensuring everyone has equal access to clean water!

Anyone with a passion for clean water and adventure can apply! Whether you’re traveling, backpacking, or just passionate about making a difference, we want you on our team.

Where will I be traveling as an ambassador?

You choose where you want to go! We’ll provide you with a list of communities in need, but ultimately, the decision is up to you and your travels.

What’s the time commitment for ambassadors?

There’s no strict time commitment. You can set up filters as you travel and fundraise at your own pace. We encourage ambassadors to aim for at least 10 filters per year.
