THE BUCKET SYSTEM

The Bucket System is one of the most impactful ways to help people get access to clean drinking water. The bucket allows for easy transport and durability as well as high volume of water capacity (approx. 5 gallons)

WATER FILTER SETUP
DRILL A HOLE IN THE BUCKET

Using the Drill Bit provided (13/16), Drill a Hole about 1" from the bucket bottom. The Hole can be drilled using your hand as well.
NOTE: Make sure the hole is high enough so the adapter can sit flat on the floor or table.



USING THE WATER FILTER
1. FILL THE BUCKET

Pour dirty water into the top of the bucket. You can use river, tap, rain, or well water.
2. FILTER USING GRAVITY

Let gravity slowly push the water through the filter. No need to squeeze or pump.
3. DRINK CLEAN WATER

Before cleaning begins, make sure you filter or get a couple cups of clean fresh water.
DO NOT use Saltwater or Cleaning Chemicals


REPEAT THESE STEPS 3-4 TIMES, DAILY, OR UNTIL WATER COMING OUT IS CLEAR

ABOUT THE SAWYER FILTER
• The Sawyer filter uses a 0.1 micron filter to remove bacteria, protozoa, and dirt from water.
• It can clean up to 100,000 gallons of water if maintained properly.
• The filter works with gravity and does not require electricity or complicated tools.
